Do You Love Them Enough?

I started this shortly after a tragedy struck my friend and her family. Their sweet baby girl was only on this earth for a few hours before she returned to our Father in Heaven. It really made me think about this topic and I still have been thinking about it 6 months later. I started to write it than, but than my life fell apart. The man I eventually wanted to spend eternity with left me for someone else. My life fell apart. I am a very forgiving woman. I figured we could work it out. Yeah, now I don't want to at least not with him. I deserve better.  Now I just need to find faith in myself that I will return to that beautiful building above or any of the others on this earth. I miss it. I need it and I just need to one day go up and take a hold of the Spirit that is just there even on the grounds.

I remember going to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and going into a sealing room. It had been 4 years since I had been in the temple. I remember thinking that the chain is broken in some places. It needs to be fixed. I also realized I want my own eternal family. I am so glad my parents and I are sealed, but it saddens me that my parents and I are not sealed to my brother and his family.

A pic of my mom's family. You can't see me. I in her tummy. :)

I couldn't find one of my brother. My family is very important to me. I want to be with them forever. I love them very much. I want to do all that I can to be with them forever. To be a better example to them. I love my family enough so that when death happens I know that I am sealed to them and as I live the way I am supposed to I will be with the forever.

I know that the work we can and should do in this building and others like it life and families do not end with this.

I love my family enough. Do you love your family enough to be sealed to them? To know that death is not the end.

Thank you for this beautiful reminder. It helps me to know that 5 months after Baby Colette's short life with out family we are not the only ones who remember her. I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am that Dusty and I were married in the Temple and to know that she is mine eternally and that I can raise her as well as my other children. Keep up the good work your doing great. Keep making those good choices and you will find yourself in the Temple before you know it.

That was a beautiful post! I know what you mean about the fear of not being sealed. I want so desperately to be with Caleb forever, that I am probably harder on him in some ways, because I'm scared he will die, and I won't get to be with him forever. I don't want to wait, but I have to be patient. Hopefully it won't be too much longer!

Shae I hope and pray that one day soon you and Caleb will be sealed. It is scary not being sealed. With my friend Ken's grandma just passing away yesterday it reminds me so much more the important of it.
